If anything, I feel as if the skates on the G604 just aren't as good as the ones on the G602, if anything interrupts flow of movement then it's them: not in a troublesome way, but in a way relative to how its predecessor handles.

In terms of control, the sensors are in fact different (HERO in this G604 compared to the Delta Zero sensor in the G604) but the control feels the same to me on 1080p, maybe at higher resolutions this would make a bigger difference but for my cases they handle like the same mouse in terms of precision. I use this mouse for everyday productivity and for gaming: productivity-wise my complaints petered out with familiarisation of the new software it has improved my gaming experience to some degree so it has been beneficial, but not as ideal as I'd wished, ultimately.įor context, this G604 was an 'upgrade' from my G602 (which, despite all of the common complaints, has been going strong for years now and still is), but in reality this mouse is a sidegrade to that model.
